Hi Students (and parents),
I just wanted to send out a message to clear up any confusion about the email and schedules that were sent home yesterday. You are NOT expected to sit in front of your computers/tablets from 9-3 every day. Those are the time periods when your teachers will be sending out the work for their classes or scheduling video conferences. This way you aren't getting all of your assignments all at once. It is designed to give you some structure to your days because we (Grand Ave) heard heard that a lot of students (and parents) were getting overwhelmed with a lot of work coming at them all at once. Stay well. Be safe and be positive. Did you know that the Cincinnati Zoo is having Zoo Safari Live on Facebook at 3:00 pm everyday?
I know, I know, you guys are too young and cool to have FB but I am sure some of your parents may have an account like I do and you can ask them to watch it with them or through their account. On Monday I learned some interesting facts about hippos. Fiona has the same birthday as Isabella. I think that some of you will particularly like the ones about hippo poop. Link to Cincinnati Zoo Unit 11 Review AK <-- Click this to get a copy of the answer key.
Please go over your work and make corrections. Consider this classwork. Try to complete it by the end of the week so that you are ready to move on to the next topic. You do NOT need to send me your work. Put it in your Unit 11 folder. It is a beautiful day out today. I know that some of you may be helping your parents by watching your siblings or some of you may be home by yourself. Here is an outside scavenger hunt that you can do in your own backyard. Isabella (my daughter) and I did one and here is what we found. If you do the scavenger hunt send me a picture through REMIND @mrsz7e so that I can see what you found. Good morning everyone! This is where I will be posting your assignments while we are "remote" learning.
Please do the Unit 11 Review. (by clicking on Unit 11 Review). Although there is not a way for me to check this packet, please complete it and give it your best effort. Tomorrow I will be posting the answer key so that you can check and correct your work. I will be assigning digital work (ex: quizizz) to assess your understanding of the material, so it is important that you complete your assignments. Please check this page each day. I will do my best to have it updated by 11 am each day. |
